The board of adjustments meets almost every month to hear cases that require special consideration regarding code compliance. For example, we recently remodeled a space located in a building that predated a current ordinance. The building did not meet code and the only way it would is if it is demolished.
The board of adjustments heard our case. We explained that although the building did not meet all landscaping requirements it maintained the spirit of the ordinance. Here is an excerpt of the meeting.
